Bug Description

RPD version 0.9.0a2 says "scanning" but never reads my 32 GB compact flash card.

RPD will read my 8GB card with photos taken by the same camera - Canon 5D Mark III

Fedora 23 Desktop

The log file indicates the scan process is stopping somewhere at the point where it was trying to read metadata from a RAW, jpeg, or video file (in that order), so it could determine the timezone scheme for file modification time used by the camera when it writes files to the cards. It doesn't seem to get past that point. Are there any files under the DCIM folder on the 32 GB card, and if so, are there any RAW or jpegs or videos in there?

Yes, there are photos RAW photos (CR2 files) in the /EOS_DIGITAL/DCIM/100EOS5D folder.

There is also a second folder with one file: /EOS_DIGITAL/DCIM/EOSMISC/M2100.CTG

I successfully downloaded photos from two different 32GB compact flash cards running RPD version 0.9.10 on Fedora 28. Looks like the bug is fixed.

Great work on the new RPD version :)
