sleep feature that did not work

when I use the computer and tired. I want to save my work using the sleep feature not hibernate and shutdown. and when I open the laptop will automatically start (startup) linux mint and are in the last position I worked before.
but when I install linux mint in desktop PC and I use the sleep feature is not working properly. when I click the interval 1-2 hours sleep then the computer will turn on by itself. when there was no activity of the mouse, keyboard or the power button to turn the computer back on
beg to be improved in order to achieve maximum performance and the absence of bugs on linux mint. because I really love to use Linux Mint OS even more fun than on ubuntu
