Bug Description
With a freshly installed lubuntu 16.04 (on a thinkpad W530, installed with the alternate installer) with LVM full disk encryption it doesn't prompt for the password during boot. It just displays an empty screen (and you can indeed type in the password and login, but without any visual feedback).
I have also the same problem on desktop system where I upgraded from ubuntu 15.10.
