close window button does not work while volume adjust bar is open

Binary package hint: totem

Hi
If I click on the loudspeaker symbol on the bottom of the window it opens a vertical bar i can adjust the volume in.
As long as this bar is open I cannot close totem by clicking the cross on top right.
I first have to click anzwhere else in the Totem window to close the volume bar, onlz then i can close totem bz clicking on the top right cross.

Totem 2.20.0 xine-lib v. 1.1.7 and GNOME 2.20.0

I can maximize/minimize while volume bar is open, but can't close it either :(
