Binary package hint: firefox
I recently updated from Edgy to Gutsy (Ubuntu) and therefor, I assume, firefox was updated. Before, irc:// links opened with XChat just fine. Now it claims it's not associated with any program.

I confirm this issue on firefox 3.0~b5+ nobinonly- 0ubuntu3.
Steps to reproduce: freenode. net/#ubuntu )
1) Run firefox
2) Follow an irc hyperlink (eg. irc://irc.
What happens:
The "Launch Application" dialog appears with no options available.
What should happen:
Either xchat should launch and connect to the channel, or the "Launch Application" dialog should appear with xchat as an option.
