There should be a default color for text and background, to adjust in the settings.
Best if it is possible to choose in the system settings the default colors.
I prefer dark black text on white background. So there is a high contrast. For me it is important to read it with a quick view, more than to have a stylish design...

Fix Released?
I am using OTA-12 on by BQ E4.5 and in the message app, the every text, except the ühone number or name is very small and dark grey on light grey background.
I can't understand why some super designing people need to make things hard to read.
why not dark black text on white? So it's easy to read.
Also in the today scope when tap on a message from today for example BBC, the title is black and readable, but the time and date and the description is unable to read.
