Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem-xine

I open a video file and then the screen turns black. The machine stops responding to keyboard. The only option is to reboot the whole machine.

I use intel driver (the new expiremental that came with gutsy) for my i855 integrated video card.

Thanks for your report. Does the same happens to you with totem-gstreamer? That's sounds like a driver problem.thanks

I will be testing with totem-gstreamer for some time. The crash occurs only occasionally when opening a file so I can't guarantee any results.
