Bug Description
The update fonts-roboto (1:4.3-3ubuntu1.2) dropped the Medium and Black fonts in fonts-roboto (1:4.3-3ubuntu1)

It's true, it was in connection with the fix of bug #1441210, and in line with what upstream (Debian) did.
However, as from Ubuntu 16.04 fonts-roboto lives in its own source package: /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ fonts-roboto

Medium and Black are back there, as can be seen here: /packages. debian. org/sid/ all/fonts- roboto- hinted/ filelist

If you are not on 16.04 yet, you may want to download the fonts-roboto and fonts-roboto-hinted packages and install them manually.
So, this is "fixed" in 16.04. We won't backport the resurrection of those weights.
