DVD-R UJ-846 burning CD fails in Gutsy 1st Gen iMac (intel)

As the title says buring fails, Nautilus first recognizes that there is a blank CD-R, but I can't burn anythimng on it because when I click on burn CD it says, that I need to insert a blank CD.
I have tested the CD afterwards on my Edgy Notebook and it works flawlessly there.

Check out issue described in Bug #66254 and #109763, but I think you have another problem (see Alberto's comment in #66254).

Just tested, CD burning with Gnomebaker works.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
