status of migrations table is pre-migrating when live-migration failed

We have one controller node and two compute node,in the process of live-migration,nova-conductor dispatch check_can_live_migrate_destination rpc message to nova-compute check_can_live_migrate_destination,when reply of the rpc messsage timeout,
the vlaue of status in migrations tables is not error,but pre-migrating.

What version of Nova is this reported against? Liberty? Mitaka? Newton (master)?
