Bug Description

This is a wishlist item, made as of Finnix 111.

In https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326981 , Finnix gained a boot-time kernel parameter "0" that causes a keyboard layout selection menu (actually the finnix-keyboard-choose program) to come up before the shell prompt. This is a good feature and I am happy that was added for 111.

I would like to suggest a small addition to this: adding an alias so that executing the command "0" at a shell prompt likewise brings up finnix-keyboard-choose. This way, the user has two options for changing the layout, and the shell prompt need not be considered "too late" to do this.

Sorry for the delay; I didn't realize bugs were being submitted here. Nonetheless, thank you for your report! For more details on recent developments, please see https://blog.finnix.org/2020/05/19/behind-the-scenes-of-finnix-120/ .

Good suggestion, I've recreated the request as https://github.com/finnix/finnix/issues/3 for the next release - please feel free to follow that issue. It'll likely be just "0" as a command as you suggest, as Finnix 120+ live-config makes it a bit harder to do it at the kernel cmdline level.
