Crash importing a JPG image

When importing the following image (taken from Google), Inkscape crashes:

note: when opening in Gimp it detect a problem and provide a workaround, no crash.

Crash (or rather forever hang) reproduced on Windows 7, Inkscape 0.91 (32 and 64-bit versions).
Not reproduced with 0.48.5, 0.91.x rev 13859 and trunk rev. 14880.

@Eduardo - Thanks. So it seems all operating systems are affected. I'm going to test again on Xubuntu 16.04 to be sure it's fixed there too.

Just to confirm the bug also affects 0.91 on Xubuntu 16.04, but is fixed in the trunk.

I recently experienced a crash importing JPG files too. Same bug?

I am running Inkscape 0.91 on a 64-bit Windows 10.

GIMP 2.8 was able to open this file without error. From there I was able to copy-paste the data from GIMP to Inkscape; having GIMP output the file back to a JPG also worked.
