Bug Description

Binary package hint: cupsys

/usr/bin/system-config-printer (in gutsy System>Administration>Printing), when I try to connect to my other gutsy pc I get the following error:

There was an error during the CUPS operation: 'httpConnectionEncrypt failed'.

After a clean gutsy install on both PCs, sharing the printer was hassle free and almost automatic, a few system updates later and I can't print remotely anymore.

I noticed I cannot navigate to http://location_of_printer:631 from the remote PC either, maybe port 631 is now being blocked?

It seems to be an issue with sharing the printer.

I have exactly the same problem described here.

Editing /etc/cups/cupsd.conf to default deny sharing allowed me to use /usr/bin/system-config-printer, and also allowed local printing.
