Bug Description

The monit template for postfix in /etc/monit/conf-available/postfix is not up-to-date anymore.

it checks for the master file as follows:

check file master_bin with path /usr/lib/postfix/master
   group postfix
   include /etc/monit/templates/rootbin

the problem is, that the master file moved to "/usr/lib/postfix/sbin/master".

The wrong path leads to

Process 'postfix' Initializing - start pending
File 'master_bin' Does not exist

This is still an issue with Ubuntu 18.04. This is fairly old but ironically postfix kept crashing, on my system, with a signal 15. Until I repaired this monit wouldn't restart it, and as a result emails weren't being sent. Now after I fixed it (thanks for the workaround) everything is fine!

Can we have this repaired in a future release of Ubuntu
