New version will not likely be uploaded to gutsy since it's stable now, you should rather open backport request once the new version is in hardy

Actually last stable version of blender is 2.45 and it is not present @ gutsy. Please update.

I'm marking this Invalid: you need to follow the backports process as mentioned above.
Blender 2.45 will be in Ubuntu Hardy.
