how do i install a new gdm theme once it is downloaded?

Bug Description
I downloaded two new gdm themes from gnome-look.org. I go to add them, and after I click install, nothing happens.
Here is what I've done so far:
1. Download a gdm theme from gnome-look.org
2. Open "Login Window" under System -> Administration
3. Click "Local" tab
4. Click "Add"
5. select downloaded file and click "Install"
Then nothings happens. What is supposed to happen? shouldn't it just show up in the list with the other themes?
