Chats cannot be removed from chat list

Bug Description
Action Taken:
Launch Telegram and obtain list of active chats
Swipe (drag) a chat to the right to expose two icons (leave chat, clear history)
Tap "leave chat" icon
Tap "OK" when presented with dialog "Are you sure you want to leave this chat?"
Observed Result:
Chat disappears from chat list for approximately 3 seconds, but then reappears again
Expected Result:
Chat should disappear (be removed) from list

I have this same issue on my device as described below:

Telegram for Ubuntu (Beta) v 2.2.4 (0)
Ubuntu 15.04 (r426)
Nexus 4 mako
rc-proposed channel
Secret chats (though not totally functional), actually go away, but regular chats come back as described above.
