In plasma 5 when changing default icon docky creates wrong paths to launchers and sort lists

Docky version: 2.2.1.1-1
Distro in use: Manjaro
DE: Plasma KDE 5.6.2

When changing default icon in plasma 5 given program stops working.
I discovered that the launcher and sorting paths get changed from usr/share/applications to ~/.local/share/applications and that somehow blocks them from launching from docky.

Rebooting docky or deleting launcher from docky and pinning it again doesn't help. Only solution to this to manually enter correct paths through gconf editor which restores the default icon in docky (although KDE still uses changed icon elsewhere),

In result icons that doesn't match general icon set or that are just ugly are not possible to change in docky, although kde offers that option. Changed icons work well from kde launchers, only docky has problem with them.
