This is what happens. GNOME Color Manager creates selectable options for all types of display kinds:
(http:// bazaar. launchpad. net/~ubuntu- branches/ ubuntu/ wily/gnome- color-manager/ wily/view/ head:/src/ gcm-calibrate- main.c) line 1432.
But Argyll will only accept display types supported by the colorimeter:
(http:// bazaar. launchpad. net/~ubuntu- branches/ ubuntu/ wily/argyll/ wily/view/ head:/spectro/ instappsup. c) line 525.
So the fix is that the GNOME Color Manager to list supported types before creating the selectable options, and latter show the supported ones exclusively.
