*Post mortem*
1 I did update my 14.4
2 I performed do-release-upgrade -d
3 upgrade process failed at mysql
4 I manually apt-get remove phpmyadmin
5 I manually apt-get remove mysql-server
6 reboot
7 directly after login system error occurs with attached log
