getting upgrade presequisites error after clean 7.10 install

Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
After a clean 7.10 install, I get the message about new updates from the adept manager. I install them, and after that, I get a new message saying that there is a new version available (the same one that I'm running, 7.10!).
I proceed with the upgrade and it fails when getting the upgrade prerequisites.
