We'd specifically like to be able to use the linux-image-
To reproduce, select any node in the Web UI, click Edit on the Machine Summary, and open the Minimum Kernel drop-down menu. No kernels other than the regular HWE images are listed.

Supporting low latency kernels is something we have in the roadmap but the roadmap has not yet been decided for 16.10. This may be a significant amount of work to support (or may not). Marking the bug appropriately.
Barry, could you please make sure this is raised by someone on your team at the cloud sprint or juju/Maas sprint?
Thanks!
