Fails to build snaps

I just tried to do a build of the clock app, which seems to have failed with an error I cannot understand (it builds fine locally).

cjwatson tells me: "[...] that's some kind of transient bug in the proxy I think. please file a bug on launchpad-buildd, but in the meantime just trying again will probably work"

Another failure to build for the calculator app, recently after, but with a different failure reason:
