Bug Description
I'm using an Acer Aspire E13 laptop (ES1-311-C82S) with an Elantech touchpad under elementary OS Freya. After updating the kernel to version 3.19.0-58-generic, the touchpad is only recognized as a PS/2 Generic Mouse as reflected by the attached output files. All multi-touch gestures such as two-finger scrolling or right clicking using two fingers do not work anymore. However, clicking by tapping and right clicking by using the bottom right area of the touchpad still works.
For reference, everything works as intended under 3.19.0-39-generic, including multi-touch gestures. `xinput` lists an `ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad` rather than the generic mouse.

novanoid, thank you for reporting this. However, Elementary OS is not a recognized flavour of Ubuntu. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. Please report this bug to the provider of your OS. Thanks!
