SD card reader not functioning on T460s under 15.10

Bug Description

When plugging in a (functioning!) SD card into my Thinkpad T460s, it is not recognized by Ubuntu 15.10.

fdisk -l results in

Unfortunately, Realtek themselves do not provide a driver for this specific device.

Hi!

This is still a problem with the recent Ubuntu release, it seems like a pretty low level kernel problem to me (looking at errors in dmesg).

The SD card is 256 GB and verified to work in a separate reader.

Any help?
