Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
I had my system installed with Gutsy since the alpha development stage, and now Gutsy is stable.
Nevertheless, Adept always tell me the a 'new version is available', and prompts me for a 'version upgrade'.
It is not clear to me as a user whether 'Gutsy DEVELOPMENT' AND Kubuntu 7.10 have any difference at all, or if they are one and the same.
The 'new version' message only shows up AFTER I installed all updates, so the system is up-to-date.
To get rid of the 'new version' message, I clicked on it to 'upgrade' anyway, but it always bails out without upgrading because the system is up to date, and the message keeps showing up after I update my system with adept.
