kactivitymanage segfault (libQt5Sql.so.5.4.2) when running nomachines in KDE (other desktops work)

Just tried to use nomachines in Kubuntu 15.10.

As soon as you load the application and click in it the KDE/Plasma desktop crashes and returns to login screen.

I see this in dmesg

Seems to be a KDE issue, I installed LXDE (which I accessed through sddm) and it doesn't crash.

Please note :

I just installed the kubuntu backports PPA on 15.10 (i.e plasma 5.5.4) and the issue is resolved.

However the bug still stands for users that are not running backports

I am using a intel GPU btw.

I have at least two pcs with the same problem. It occurs when waking up from sleep mode

I have Linux Mint 18.2 Xfce 64-bit with some KDE applications installed (K3B, dolphin). I get this crash since yesterday, but not reproducibly, when using dolphin or libreoffice 5.3.
