Bug Description
On a laptop with touchscreen, from a terminal window:
$ mir_demo_server --test-client mir_demo_
Expect:
1. two finger drag resizes
2. three finger drag moves
Observed:
1. two finger drag has no effect
2. three finger drag has no effect
By comparison, running Mir-on-kms works as expected:
$ sudo mir_demo_server --vt 1 --test-client mir_demo_

Touch events in X11 are an afterthought/ extension to Xorg somewhere. The traditional X client API doesn't really cover them so clients like Mir-on-X11 won't support touch by default either. This bug is expected.
