Bug Description

Binary package hint: wmweather+

wmweather+ segfaults on start whenever -location is specified:

wmweather+ -location "37.914578N W122.056046"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Running under debugger it shows this:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00002b555df3e75c in strcasecmp () from /lib/libc.so.6

If location is not specified (and then it assumes I am located on the equator) application starts and runs without problems.

Putting location information in conf file causes the same segfault. Any other syntax of longitude/latitude causes the same crash (37'0'0N 122'0'0W or N37.914578 W122.056046)

Tnis is all on 7.10 system upgraded from 7.04. There were no problems with wmweather+ in 7.04

Is this symptom reproducible in 8.10?
