Bug Description

NM has grown the capacity to tell the kernel what address generation modes to use when creating new IPv6 addresses. Some of these modes:

 - eui64: the default "using the MAC address, split in half with fe:ff in between the halves"
 - stable-privacy: stable privacy extension addresses (the new default)
 - etc.

NM should have new test cases to cover some of these variations. For now it only validates that there is an address, and may pass for any more (only checks that it is a valid IPv6 address, not the format).

Changed in network-manager (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Triaged
