Bug Description

Hi,

I've recently install kUbuntu 15.10, and bluetooth worked out of the box. But at some point (probably after installing updates)
it is no longer detecting (when scanning) any devices.

I have found a similar bug report here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1552925,
but the package linked there did not work (probably due to me using ath9k, not ath3k module) - the bluetooth card was not detected, and in dmesg were messages about failing to load firmware.

This has been fixed upstream in all stable kernels today.

This is up to the Canonical kernel team to backport it to Ubuntu.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream stable kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.2 stable kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Oh, I see it has been committed before ckt7. So it should work there as well.
