Fillet/Chamfer Path effect makes Inkscape Hang

Inkscape 0.91.0+47~ubuntu14.04.1
Elementary OS 0.3.2 Freya (based on Ubuntu 14.04) 64 bit

When I apply Fillet/Chamfer path effect to a path, the program
becomes unresponsive and hangs, until it is killed.

Steps to reproduce:

I applied the fillet rounding effect to 2-3 paths,
at which point it hangs at the add-path-effect screen,
after clicking OK. The program tends to crash after
the effect has been applied to 2 or 3 paths.

I can't seem to get a debug report from gdb as I'm not
sure how to link it to my inkscape shell script? I'm not
a competent linux user! :3 Please advise

UPDATE:

I added the path effect to subsequent alternative paths
with no issues, so I guess it's something to do with that
particular path (see arrow in attached screenshot).

This path which caused the problem is just an ordinary
closed path as far as I can tell.

One workaround that seemed to remedy the bug was to
select this serif/crossbar path "Break Apart", "Union"
and then try adding the Fillet/Chamfer effect again.

Inkscape didn't crash on this occasion. Hope this info
is of some help to making the effect more stable.

Fillet Chamfer LPE is not the final code, the replacement is waiting for a review, I hope we can merge it soon.
Anyway dont close the bug and please attach the problematic svg to test with the new version.

Also could be useful know your OS.

Unfortunately I can't upload the full graphic as it
is part of a college assignement that can't be published yet!
I could share this privately though via email if that's any use?

Alternatively I can upload the section of the logo that
seems to be the root of the problem. Or the original file
once it has been graded. I posted my OS in the original
bug description - Elementary OS 0.3.2 Freya (based on Ubuntu 10.04) 64 bit

Its ok you put a part of the SVG if you can reproduce the bug with this part.
Not only ok, much better to find the bug more quikly.
