Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:

f2fs-tools 1.6.1-1 is a bugfix release that fixes a segfault when running fsck.f2fs on f2fs-formatted filesystems; see Debian #813806 and LP: #1557228.

It builds and installs successfully on xenial; I've uploaded a test package to https://launchpad.net/~vincent-c/+archive/ubuntu/vincents-sandbox
