Bug Description

When searching for network printers in my home nework i couldn't find our printer.
When i renamed it to "skrivare" instead of "Benny räddar världen!" (which means "Benny saves the world!" which my friend Benny found appropriate when installing the printer a few weeks ago) it suddenly worked.
I realize that this is a fairly obscure bug, but i guess it is worth reporting anyway. Im not sure if the problem comes from the use of "ä" or from the use of spaces in the name though. If you can't reproduce the bug and feel that you need the information please ask and i will try it out when i've got some time over.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I won't be able to test this unfortunately as i've moved out of the apartment where the smb printer in question was located.
