Bug Description

Left click randomly stops working *only* in workspace, i.e. launch column and top menu bar. Clicking otherwise completely normal on the desktop and running applications.
Workaround: Change user and re-enter password. No need to log out of the session: [Ctl][Alt]+[L] and retype password.

Eric Broneer, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

To see if this is already resolved, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

OK, tried running the latest daily-live xenial. Tried opening several Firefox windows and tabs with my Google Drive documents and other windows. No problem after more than 30 minutes working. Suspend mode didn't cause the bug on xenial. I couldn't try hibernate, of course, since I'm on a live USB stick.
However, I can't tell if it would cause the same problem with all my personal parameters set as they are now.
So far, so good. I'll let you know if I can reproduce the bug.
