Hugin hangs on launch after first time installation

So, I thought I'd check out Hugin after finding it today. I downloaded the latest stable build for Mac OS, and put it in applications. I opened it and it proceeded to hang immediately with the "Hugin - Panorama Stitcher" window up. Just beach ball mouse cursor. I wound up force quitting it.

Please test 2016.2 version and report back if it is fixed.

I tested 2016.2 on a Macbook Pro under OS X 10.11.5 (El Capitan). I have only tried the 3-steps: Load images, Align, Create Panorama. Works perfectly! Many thanks!
