Bug Description

When you go to many urls with lots of images and videos (such as http://news.google.com/news/url?sr=1&ct2=us%2F1_0_s_1_1_a&sa=t&usg=AFQjCNF3YmGSJKFgDC92d6FUG8AmbybUzg&cid=52779069898901&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Fnews%2Fworld-news%2Fbarack-obama-filmed-hiding-wedding-7633906&ei=hDz3Vsi-DZKLhAG107fYDw&rt=HOMEPAGE&vm=STANDARD&bvm=section&did=5638657433709108861&sid=en_us-sfy&ssid=sfy&st=1&at=dt0&eid=%2Fm%2F02mjmr&ise=false&insrc=8) the page seems to load ok, but then Firefox greys out and then right after that the mouse pointer stops moving. One must do a hard power off, power on to get the machine to work again. Just recently started happening as of version 45 update of firefox. Tried restarting in safe mode and it still does it. Quite frustrating. Seems every page from news.google.com will cause the issue although you can load news.google.com ok.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.

When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:

apport-collect 1562436

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
