Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

If i try to format cells, OO chrashs.

Ubuntu 7.10, OpenOffice.org Calc 2.3.0

When does it crash? As soon as you select format cells in OpenOffice Spreadsheet or when you select certain options? I couldn't get it to crash myself but I didn't try every option.

I do have exactly the same problem.
Select cells with mouse, and then right click, and format cells. Openoffice hangs. Only solution is to kill process.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 131526, so it is being marked as such. A patch for this has been provided already and an update may be available shortly. The current best workaround seems to be using another Gnome theme, e.g. "Human".
Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.
