The output format for df changed after a recent kernel update in Ubuntu 14.04. LTS
When I run df to show all mounted filesystems, the output looks like this:
$ df
File system 1K-blocchi Usati Disponib. Uso% Montato su
udev 1980104 4 1980100 1% /dev
tmpfs 399056 1296 397760 1% /run
/dev/sda3 474542212 12259424 438154328 3% /
none 4 0 4 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
none 5120 0 5120 0% /run/lock
none 1995272 156 1995116 1% /run/shm
none 102400 76 102324 1% /run/user
/dev/sda1 2043988 3456 2040532 1% /boot/efi

when I only want to show one specific device, e.g. $HOME, the output changes to
$ df $HOME
File system 1K-blocchi Usati Disponib. Uso% Montato su
/dev/disk/by-uuid/beb6a7ee-a327-468c-b46c-ba6f3b1e914a 474542212 12259424 438154328 3% /
