upgrade to 7.04 crashed

Binary package hint: update-manager

Two days After upgrade to 7.04 (kubuntu) the upgrade manager offers in adept a new kubuntu disitribution. (again 7.04)

After starting the (second ) upgrade an error occured:

s wurden 5B in 0s geholt (5B/s)
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Then manually configure of the scripts:
cdrecord
rscsi
Than the rest of the installation take place.
At the end came this information:
ldconfig deferred processing now taking place
