Bug Description

On some devices, like arale or turbo, triggering edge gestures is quite tricky. Increasing the width for edge gestures helps with that. However, we can't generally increase the width because that would cause false-positives on other devices like krillin or vegeta.

=> The edge width should be configurable so that a device-specific width can be set in the device device tarball.

I would even say that the edge width needs to be configurable by the user.

Personally I use a cover for my Meizu mx4 and the edges of the cover gets in the way when i swipe.

It especially affects the gesture for the launcher and for swiping to the home screen, which I perform successfully about 50% of the times at best (I do the swiping with the thumb of my right hand).

The right side is easier for me but it's still not perfect. Removing the cover is not an option for me.

Olaf, with the linked branch there will be a gsettings option for the width. I don't think we will be adding a ui for that in the settings app, but if a user really wants to, he can change it via command line. Also this might be a candidate for tweak tools as seen in the OpenStore.

Great setting!
I also find it difficult to do exactly what I want: sometimes I want to go to next scope for example but fwd a song instead, or want to go to previous scope and open the launcher instead.
