Gparted doesn't load 7.10 x64

Bug Description

Upgraded to 7.10 x64 and found that gparted will not work. Uninstalling and re-installing produced no change. Dimmed out screen comes up, but nothing happens.

Have you tried starting it from the terminal? Do you get any output?

Thanks for the instructions for filing bug report. This was my first.
Did not try to start program from Terminal because I don't know how.

Here's a little introduction to the terminal : http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/terminal

Please open a terminal like described there and enter the command "gksudo gparted".
If you get any output in the terminal, please post it here.
