Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Hi I'm using Gutsy (7.10) in Pidgin with a new window open and just about to write a message for somebody in my friends list, if I want to delete a text and I reach the final point of the text chain (delete all the text in the window) and I still keep pressed backstep (to delete from the right side to the left one) the screen starts to get shaded. I'm using ATI SAPPHIRE x800GT.
So, in the Pidgin window just about to write something for anybody in my friends list if the <<backstep>> reach the final point and I still press it, the screen starts to act weird.
Thanks

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the actively developed release. You can find out more about the development release at [WWW] http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing/
