CPU 100% with gvfsd-smb-browse process on Ubuntu Mate 16.04 !

Yes, I have the same problem on a fresh installed Ubuntu 16.04.
gvfsd-smb-browse will use 100% of one of the cores for about 5 minutes after startup, and then become quiet after.

Had this too on a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 using Gnome Shell. On boot I have to kill the process.

Same thing happening here on fully up to date Ubuntu 16.04 / Unity. As soon as I open Nautilus, this process goes insane (see attached screenshot).

This is connected to my home network, there's a windows pc somewhere exposing some shared folders, and the rest are either android or Ubuntu.
