Bug Description
Hi everybody,
I am new to this (first bug I report), but please bear with me. I got a Nexus 4 and installed the rc-propsed image. One of the first things I tried was to setup Telegram. I have been using Telegram before (though only for testing purposes). I entered my number, got the code, unlocked Telegram for normal usage. First thing I saw was nothing. Therefore, I opened "Contacts", hoping to get an overview over who else is using the app, since I synced my Google contacts after installing Ubuntu Touch. However, all I got was a rotating circle that never stopped. I waited for ~5min, but nothing happened. Then, using the button in the upper right corner, I added a contact from the phone contacts manually. After that, this was the only contact I saw and the rotating circle had disappeared. There was no way that I saw to populate the contacts tab.
I'm not really well used to Telegram, so I don't know for sure if this is how it is meant to be, but I'm pretty sure.
After that, I deleted my Telegram account and hoped to reset everything. Interestingly, after entering the code and going to contacts, the one contact is still shown, but now I got the rotating circle again.
Sorry if this is an awkward and n00bish bug report, but I tried my best. If you got any feedback regarding how I can improve bug reports in the future, please go ahead (maybe using pm?)
However, I hope I could contribute a little bit to improve Telegram on Ubuntu Touch and Ubuntu Touch overall usability. Additionally, if I somehow screwed up, information on how to resolve this problem is appreciated.
Best regards,
Daniel
