Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
In versions 2.2 and 2.3 one may highlight text but cannot de-select the highlighting as described in Highlighting Help indicated below. In both of the aforementioned versions there is no arrow next to the highlighting icon. This function did in fact work in version 2.0 and I don't recall if it worked in 2.1. Thanks for any help on this issue.
“Highlighting
Applies the current highlight color to the background of a text selection. If no text is selected, click the Highlighting icon, select the text that you want to highlight, and then click the Highlighting icon again. To change the highlight color, click the arrow next to the Highlighting icon, and then click the color that you want.”
On Ubuntu 7.10 OpenOffice 2.3.0 I see the arrow on the right side of the highlighting icon. I have attached a picture of it circled. Does your version not have that? If so what version of Ubuntu and OpenOffice debs do you have?
Thanks,
Chris Cheney
