Bug Description

Hi

I have a G4 1.42ghz PowerPC. After setting up the system and installing FWCutter, everything works fine.

Upon installing OpenOffice / GStreamer codecs, after restart, the Network-Manager displays no connections and
is maxing out the CPU at 100%. I'm pretty sure this is not related to suspend or hibernate bugs I've seem.

I've reinstalled Gutsy several times and I'm not sure what exacly triggers it. After removing the Network-Manager,
everything works fine after setting up wireless and wired Networking manually through the System > Admin > tools.

thanks for all the hard work. Ubuntu rules!

matt
