Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I did not save the full message as I assumed incorrectly that the error report preparation that was done automatically would probably capture all that. I went into synaptic and did a remove completely on all the packages that had mono and tomboy, cleared cache and then reinstalled. This seems to have worked as I do not get these error messages as post installation script errors any longer.
