8812au Exec format error with linux-image 4.2.0-30.36

Bug Description

After upgrade and reboot to linux-image 4.2.0-30.36, the 8812au module fails to load with following error

Reboot into 4.2.0-27.32 has no issues

~# modprobe 8812au
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert '8812au': Exec format error

I noticed a similar bug #1541743 which describes the same problem, except also with 4.2.0-27; Might suggest this issue is related to one of the supporting packages related to the build process and not with a specific kernel version.
