Inkscape does not accept non-breaking space (zwnj)

I am using Persian for text elements and it is not possible to use non-breaking space (Unicode: 00A0). Simple copy / paste from another text editor does not work and neither does Ctrl+U.

Not reproduced on Windows 7, Inkscape 0.91 and trunk rev. 14707.
In the attached SVG test file, the unbreakable space character (u00A0) is placed between "test" and "test2".

I'm going to test it again on Xubuntu in case it's OS related.

Not reproduced on Inkscape 0.91 r13725 Ubuntu 16.04, Ctrl-shift-u A0 works fine.

@Gerhard - Thanks for your test!

@Hamidreza - Could you please give more details on your issue? Does it occur if you try with different fonts (in case the one you used doesn't fully support the whole range of characters you need)?

I have upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04 and the defect is still there. I have tried with some Persian fonts and it was not possible to insert non-breaking space. In other applications such as LibreOffice or gEdit I use shift+space and it works. Even the same text copied from gEdit to Inkscape automatically changes to a full space.

I should also note that in Persian characters attaching is essential and their shape changes compared to Latin that characters are written disjointedly.
